The Olde Globe Cottage

This two-bedroom private cottage is perfect for families or couples traveling together comfortably sleeping up to six adults. It was built by the Hersey family in the 1940s and was completely renovated in 2005. Tucked behind Hersey House, the swing-for-two in an old apple tree begs you to linger.

A lovely queen-sized bed and private half-bath await you in one bedroom; a second is outfitted with twin beds; and in the living room has a comfy queen-sized sofa that easily folds out to sleep two.

At The Olde Globe Cottage you can sleep late and eat breakfast in your PJs if you like. A lovely breakfast basket arrives on your porch each morning at 8:30 laden with home-baked breads still warm from the oven, fresh fruit and juice. Your fully-equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher and microwave. Basic kitchen condiments including coffee and tea, a juicer and coffee maker in the kitchen make it easy to prepare some or all of your meals during your stay.

The Cottage is a housekeeping unit where we provide clean sheets and towels, but we do not provide daily tidying . Children of all ages and pets are always welcome in the Olde Globe Cottage
